BAME in Hospitality (BIH) was founded in 2020 by Lorraine Copes who has worked within the hospitality sector for 17 years. Lorraine is a senior procurement leader, qualified coach and speaker, and throughout the career she has almost always been the only person of colour around a senior management table.

Having started my as a chef in 1997, I have a wealth of Industry knowledge. I am looking forward to passing on what ever I can to support the next generation.
BAME in Hospitality is a supportive community for Black, Asian and other ethnic minorities in hospitality, created to inspire, empower and connect, through the provision of mentors, coaches, access to career role models and networking.
